Sport news on RTVS, TV Markíza and TA3, and their camparison

This thesis deals with characteristic and differences in sport broadcasting between chosen televisions. The aim of the work is to analyse sport broadcasting of these TV stations and compare the form by which they give information to the viewers, what they concentrate on and what they pay the biggest attention to. It defines basic terms in making television broadcasting and the author's work of a reporter. It characterizes each television, their birth, the quantity of sport offered to viewers, editorial staff and the list of regular magazine programmes. The work offers a look into the backstage of the televisions and opinions of two managing editors and one reporter on the sport broadcasting in Slovakia. They explain the work of sport reporter and operation of sport editorial department in television. The sport reporter, who worked in two of the compared televisions, offers a comparison of the work system in those televisions. Viewer's opinion is very important and they demonstrate how they look at the final product of the televisions. To the conclusions said in the chapters of this work I use mostly viewer's opinions and my own personal knowledge gained after long lasting watching of television sport broadcasting.
Selected causes of the third Mečiar's goverment on the biased news of the Slovak television

The Master's Thesis "The selected cases of the third Mečiar's government and the bias in news coverage in the Slovak television" analyses a period of the third Mečiar's government on the basis of research focusing on the presence of bias in the news coverage in the Slovak television. This institution, which provides the public service broadcasting, is in general considered as a politicians' tool and during 1994-98 is described as a medium subordinated to the coalition government of that time, or even to a single political party. Due to the previous research dealing with election campaigns in 1998 we decided to focus on two significant events - the kidnapping of Michal Kováč jr. in 1995 and the 1997 referendum, which could present an illustration of the media production during the respected period. Closer characteristics of the socio-political situation with the accent on the selected cases is outlined in the introductory part of the work together with the bias issue and the concept of public service broadcasting. In this work we pay attention to the characteristics of evolution of the Slovak television after 1989 as well, and to a closer description of its functioning and broadcasting in 1994-1998. Analysis and Comparison of selected Developmental Parameters of Czech and Slovak Television

The aim of this Bachelor's thesis is to analyze and subsequently compare and evaluate the progress of selected developmental indicators of the Czech and Slovak television. In the theoretical section is initially approached the evolution of the public television market in the middle and eastern Europe. After that, the thesis is focused on the Czech and Slovak television. At first, we get acquainted with its history and development, then we take a closer look at the analysis of selected parameters of both institutions, which are divided into three regions. In the final chapter, the analyzed parameters are compared, evaluated and explained.
